The Grier Law Firm has represented both landlords and tenants throughout his career.  He represented a large multinational conglomerate in all leasing matters involving its large portfolio of shopping centers in the Chicagoland area and has represented landlords and tenants in leasing of Chicagoland office and industrial buildings.  John Grier represented a large mining company in its leasing of an underground limestone mine in the Chicago area. 

The Grier Law Firm has represented large corporations in a variety of construction projects, including, negotiating the construction contract for a new world headquarters and the contract for the build-out of a trading desk in a commercial office building.

The Grier Law Firm has represented purchasers and sellers of residential real estate in the City of Chicago and the suburbs.  His experience includes representing buyers and sellers of single family homes, condominiums, co-operative apartments and time shares.  

John Grier has extensive experience representing developers of commercial and residential real estate both in the United States and in the Caribbean.  He has also negotiated development agreements on behalf of both governmental authorities and developers.  John Grier was appointed by the Government of Aruba to a commission to draft model timeshare regulations for the Island.
